The Gresham Leicester Announces Staff Transition to WGC Hospitality Services

Multi-award winning The Gresham Leicester is pleased to announce that its housekeeping team will be transitioning to contracts with WGC, a trusted facilities and hospitality services provider, who also partner with Claridges, Hilton and Marriott hotels.


This strategic move will enhance the professional development of staff, deliver long-term sustainability, and maintain operational excellence, whilst ensuring a consistent high-quality guest experience.


The Gresham Leicester, a luxury aparthotel in the city center, seamlessly blends historic character with modern amenities. It offers guests 121 serviced apartments and studios, complemented by a popular on-site bar, restaurant, and a 24-hour reception and fitness suite.


Effective 21 November 2025, all housekeeping staff currently employed by The Gresham Leicester will join WGC under new employment contracts.


This partnership reflects The Gresham’s continued commitment to supporting its team members while maintaining the highest standards of service for guests.


The transfer allows The Gresham’s valued housekeeping staff to benefit from the extensive support and career opportunities available within WGC, including access to broader training programmes and improved advancement prospects within the hospitality and facilities management sector.


For The Gresham Leicester - who celebrated their 4th anniversary this autumn - aligning with WGC allows both organisations to focus on what they do best - with The Gresham continuing to deliver outstanding guest experience, and WGC providing first-class housekeeping and support services.
